    Thank you so munch Hanno. I managed to use the _selid modifier in other Rhino commands as well.

    Hi,

    if you use object ids in Rhino commands, you have to use the _selid modifier:

    "_Group _selid " & arrSrf(0) & " _selid " & arrSrf(1) & " _enter"

    The _enter is to end the command.

    Hope that helps!

    Hanno

    Hi, I have been trying to duplicate the function of Rhino's _group command in rhinoscript as Rhino.AddObjectsToGroup doesn't allow me to proceed on with the next step of my calculation. Essentially, I want to group 2 (or more) planar surfaces that have been created in the previous part of my code and calculate their combined new centroid.

    Dim strCmd
    strCmd = "_Group " & arrSrf(0) & "," & arrSrf(1)
    Rhino.Command strCmd

    The error I get is:
    Rhino.Command strCmdUnknown command: ec32f3d3-163c-4b21-95f3-8658d5522fa4

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.
