    Hi,

this looks like a typical "read textfile, split lines, convert to numbers". You can have a look at Johannes' script www.rhinoscript.org/scripts/10 if you want to know how to deal with text files, but I can't point you to any ready solution for your specific input requirements.

    Hope that helps!

Before I start coding here, maybe someone already knows if this exists?
I need to import surface data stored in this manner:

    # Field: 1 x
    # Field: 2 y
    # Field: 3 z milliseconds
    # Field: 4 column
    # Field: 5 row

    Example:
    439750.000000 6775700.000000 191.957947 1 1
    439850.000000 6775700.000000 191.908295 2 1
    439950.000000 6775700.000000 191.778717 3 1
    ...
    439750.000000 6775800.000000 191.904663 1 2
    439850.000000 6775800.000000 191.838623 2 2
    439950.000000 6775800.000000 191.695114 3 2
    ...
    and so on..
