this should be possible with RhinoScript. For the first part, have a look at ProjectCurveToSurface and DivideCurveLength.
I believe piping and filleting is not implemented in RhinoScript, you could use ExtrudeCurve to shoot a circle along your paths, or you ccan always use Rhino.Command to call rhino commands that are not implemented as RS methods.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi All,

I'm not sure if this is a Rhino script appropriate or not.

I'm trying to simulate fabric sewing/stitching on my soft good designs. Ideally I would like to project a curve to the object and run a script on the curve that would segment it into small 4mm dashes w/1mm space in beteen, then pipe each dash segment by .5mm and round or fillet the ends. It would look like a dashed line but each dash would be a tube with rounded ends to look like stitching on a shirt or a shoe.

If anyone knows how to script this or if it's even possible with Rhinoscript this it would be very appreciated. I'm just learning scripting and Grasshopper.
